this one (below right) is one of my favorites- doesn't this little guy look like such a little tough guy in his skull sweater? he totally looks like he's waiting for something awesome to go down!  love it!

father's day surprise

the sun was so bright!  i had been watching the weather.  the forecast called for overcast and warm.  perfect!  well, not so perfect.  
once the kids rose, i quickly dolled 'em all up and thought it would be the perfect photo op.  this particular morning was the only time i could take them before father's day and i really wanted to surprise sam!  
well, it turned out to be super duper sunny and bright- not a cloud in the sky.  we went anyway.  i was planning to take the kids alone and at the last minute my lifesaver friend jodi stepped in and saved the day!  there is no way i could have tackled this alone.  thanks so much jod!  i owe you big time!  pictures?

poor little jack was fit to be tied.  between the sun and nap time, he was not a happy beach boy :)  it's tricky!  we got a few cute ones.  better luck next time.
